According to Rotten Tomatoes and other review sites, the Twilight movie isn’t going to be good. I have a feeling that the movie is being critiqued by individuals that haven’t read or perhaps have read but haven’t enjoyed the Twilight book. I’m still holding out hope that the movie will be parallel to the book and I will love it. Angela and I have a date tomorrow to go watch the movie and then go eat. Since she has her license now, I can drink.
I can’t wait for tomorrow! I also get to spend the entire weekend with this sweet little sugar pie.
Tonight we all went to dinner and I’ve spent all evening with my favorite guy, Taco. Now the house is a complete mess and I plan to leave it until I can get to it tomorrow.
UPDATE: I couldn’t do it. I cleaned up the house. I cannot force myself to wake up to a mess.
This is the last week before Bur and the kids are on Thanksgiving break. I’ll be glad to have them home but I always have so much to do to get ready for such a schedule change. I don’t do very good with change and chaos but it will be worth it to have them home.
Did anyone watch the Pay Per View UFC this past Saturday evening? Oh it was a good one. I really wanted Randy Couture to win because he has put his heart and soul into MMA and Brock Lesnar doesn’t have much MMA background but it was really difficult to even believe that Couture could match up against Lesnar’s gigantic size. In the face-off you could really see the difference. Bur and I always call the fights beforehand and we both said that we wanted Couture to win but didn’t really see how it would be possible and sure enough, Lesnar got him. We were really upset with how long the ref let Lesnar bang on his damn head before he stopped it though. That seemed like a hell of a beating there at the end.
I read today that my girls Kath & Kim are experiencing a serious ratings drop and I just really cannot see how people are not flocking to that show. It’s just the right amount of stupidity and humor for me. I need you all to watch that show this week.
Bur made me sit and listen to this song yesterday. He said that when he heard it earlier in the week he immediately thought of me so I figured I’d share. It’s not the greatest song but the lyrics pretty much sum up our dating years. Awww, takes me back. My favorite part is when he says “We can have a baby daughter, maybe call her Maggie.” It has great meaning to Bur and I.

Overly organized thirty-two year old mother of three kiddos (and one pup). Married for thirteen years to someone just as screwed up as me. Go figure! That's how we keep our love alive (well, that and liquor). Doing our best not to scare the neighbors. (more)
