Trent got his braces on today and he looks so cute with them. He got silver braces with pink wire holders but isn’t happy with the fact that they only had a salmon pink and not a bright neon pink color.

The kids and I colored Easter eggs with Angela and Ry this year. Trey and Faith came home earlier today with a bunch of eggs because they went to their friend Tyler’s and colored two dozen eggs.

Faith is THIS excited about Easter tomorrow -

Yesterday was the annual Hawk Dog Day at Trey and Faith’s school. We played games, watched a play, and ate yummy hot dogs with the kids. Afterward, I checked them out early from school as a treat before Thanksgiving break. I snapped pictures while Trey recorded Faith’s play. Unfortunately we turned the camera off before the singing began because it was a really cute song and fun to watch. The kids are off for Thanksgiving break now. Faith is in the second row (not wearing her Indian head dress).

Trent received his yellow belt last night at the gym. He didn’t know it would be happening but he was very happy that he was able to move up in rank finally after 6 months.
Since he and his buddy Tyler did so well at the Tournament on Saturday, Sensei James thought it was time for the boys to move up. Trent and Tyler mostly work together during class but the big guys are always there for them and work each of them every class. The boys look up to the Professional fighters and I love how molded and cared for these young boys are. Just listen to how excited they all are at the end about their tournament matches. Speaks volumes!
Way to bring home the silver and gold, Trent. We are so proud of you! You kicked ass and had the whole place roaring with excitement. I can’t wait for the next one!
